- Due to my "bug-swatting", a couple of newsworthy points (which I have been
- asked to post on the OO groups as well):
-
- 1. The expert systems WWW page is being continually updated at:
-
- http://goldstn.cs.ncat.edu/expertsystemspage.htm
-
- This page is off of several research oriented pages at
- http://goldstn.cs.ncat.edu/Research.htm.
-
- The expert systems page has several object-oriented pointers on it as well.
- You can add links to mine and can join the expert systems mailing list. If
- you joined the list by Monday and did not receive a mailing, please contact
- me - I am trying to mail through Microsoft Mail (as opposed to a listserver).
-
- 2. The object-oriented, WWW-based expert system toolkit is largely on-line.
- I am correcting some bugs. The shareware version is on-line and I will
- make the commercial version available. The commercial version will include
- sockets, on-the-fly graphics, and a persistent oobject database.
-
- 3. The expert systems courses offered by Giarrantano (co-author of Expert
- Systems, Principles and Programming) and myself are starting to draw some
- significant interest for this summer. I *may* even offer the courses once in
- Europe. These courses include:
-
- Developing Object-Oriented Expert Systems
- Developing Expert Systems in CLIPS
- Developing Agent-Oriented Systems
- Developing Diagnostic Expert Systems
- Developing Decision Support systems for Businesses
- Developing Market Prediction Systems and
- Developing Fuzzy Knowledge-based Systems
-
- I can, of course, send you lots of information about these courses.
-
- Thanks!
